Hey, friends! And happy December! I’m sharing our farmhouse Christmas bathroom today. This is our guest bathroom. The same one we just finished remodeling. For some reason, I’ve always loved decorating this tiny bathroom for holidays even though it’s a small space. Maybe that’s why I enjoy it? It’s not too overwhelming. This year it was super easy. I didn’t even go back and forth with several different options and ideas like usual.
Those plaid boxes are a recent thrift store find. I think I paid a total of $2.00 for all of them. When I saw them, I didn’t have a plan in mind, but I was obsessed and skipped out of that store with glee once they were mine all mine. I certainly didn’t plan for them to go in the bathroom, but I think they look pretty cute, right?
If you wanted to replicate this look, it would be easy to wrap any gift boxes with plaid fabric using spray adhesive. I would add a thin layer of batting for a more finished look. You could really get creative here.
I made a simple wreath by adding some trimmings from our cypress trees to a grapevine wreath I had on hand. Easy and free, my favorite kind of project! I just stuck the stems through the grapevine and it held in place well and I love the natural look.
Some other touches include a mini tree stuffed in a galvanized pail (both from Walmart) and a striped hand towel from World Market.
I hope you like our simple farmhouse style Christmas bathroom. I’ve linked some items used in this room below. I plan to share a few other spaces in our house that are decorated for Christmas soon. Hope you stop back in!
